拟南芥COI1基因调控蔗糖响应的研究

摘 要:

植物激素茉莉酸和糖在植物生长发育中起重要作用, 但两者之间的关系尚不清楚。本文研究了拟南芥茉莉酸受体基因COI1在植物响应无蔗糖反应中的功能。蔗糖能够诱导COI1基因表达, 与野生型植物相比, coi1突变体在无蔗糖培养基中能够正常生长, 主根增长, 蔗糖含量增加, 磷酸蔗糖合成酶基因SPSA1SPSC以及生长素合成基因YACCA6YUCCA8表达上调。结果表明COI1基因能够特异地在植物响应蔗糖中起重要调控作用。

Study on Arabidopsis thaliana COI1 gene regulates plant response to sucrose

Abstract:

Plant phytohormone jasmonic acid (JA) and sugar play important roles in plant growth and development, however, their relationship has not been clearly demonstrated. The present study analyzed the function of Arabidopsis thaliana JA receptor gene COI1 on sucrose shortage response. The COI1 gene expression is up-regulated by sucrose. Compared to the wild type plants, coi1 mutant could grow without sucrose, had longer main root length, increased sucrose content, up-regulated expression levels of sucrose phosphate synthase genes SPSA1 and SPSC, as well as auxin biosynthesis genes YUCCA6 and YUCCA8. These results suggest that COI1 may play important roles in regulating plant response to sucrose specifically.
